KUWAIT: Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah yesterday discussed with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the State of Kuwait, Zineb Touimi-Bejelloun ways of benefiting from the expertise of the Office of United Nations Development Program in youth development experiences and their projects.

Sheikh Salman asserted in a statement keenness of the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs on youngsters as youth have become a priority that must be supported. He added that the ministry is always seeking to benefit from technical cooperation and advisory expertise provided by the United Nations Development Program, praising the historic and excellent relationship linking Kuwait with the UN and its various agencies.

For her part, Bejelloun underscored the depth of the relationship and cooperation between the United Nations Development Program and the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs. She pointed to the many important aspects of cooperation between the program and the ministry including a program under the slogan (Innovation In achieving Sustainable Development Goals) in which 30 young people have taken part. -KUNA
