KUWAIT: Minister of Social Affairs and Women and Children Affairs Mai Al-Baghli stressed the importance of being a child who cares for their parents and the role of the prize in establishing educational values based on humanitarian principles that are derived from Islam, the constitution and original Arab values.

"I am glad to meet with you in this event to honor a number of parent-caring Kuwaiti children who have exerted valuable efforts to raise Kuwait's standards in various aspects as individuals and civil institutions in preparing cultural and social activities which serves the society as a whole," Baghli said during the ceremony.

"Volunteer work in the service and development of the society is a source of inspiration for social cohesion, and it is a basis to boost good social values such as cooperation and compassion for the prosperity of Kuwait," she added. "Starting from our social responsibility at the ministry towards cases related to enhancing parental and elderly care, we have been sponsoring this award since 2007, which has been contributing throughout the years in guiding programs and social care activities," she added.
