KUWAIT: A 35-year-old Egyptian has been accused of sorcery. The suspect charges KD 350 to bring couples closer or to separate them. Later, he raised the price to KD 1000. Criminal detectives learned about the activities and sent a female undercover agent to him. When she gave him the KD 500 down payment police moved in and caught him red handed with money. Separately, Farwaniya detectives arrested a bedoon who posed as 'spiritual healer'.  The suspect swindled a girl KD 400 she paid him to help her with her depression. The bedoon man denied the charge.

Kuwaiti threatened

A citizen in her 30s told Fahad Al-Ahmad police that her neighbor insulted her verbally and threatened to hurt her over previous disputes. Police are investigating.

An Indian was robbed of KD 530 by a fake detective in Khaitan area. The Indian told police he was stopped by a driver in a 4WD vehicle who claimed to be a detective. The fake detective searched him and took the money.
