KUWAIT: The Fourth Ramadan Bowling Tournament of the Special Olympics was organized by Tumooh Sports Club at the Bowling Club in Salmiya with the participation of 48 players of both genders. The two-day tournament saw the women's doubles team of Anwar Al-Ghadban and Fatima Al-Hareeri from Kuwait Academy win first place, Ayat Al-Tulaihi and Mariam Al-Hindi from Yumooh in second place, and Loulwa Al-Hajji and Rawan Al-Balhan from Tumooh and Warba winning third place.

In the second women's group, Maha Al-Khashti and Sheikha Al-Hindi from Tumooh won first place, Sukaina Al-Saffar and Sabeeha Khuzaim from Ikhlas were second, while Nour Al-Hawwash and Shahad Al-Qallaf from Nour Academy and Hope School came third.

In the first men's group, Fahad Al-Mulla and Faqaz Al-Qassar from Tumooh stood first, Bader Al-Suweidan and Mushari Al-Araifi from Ican were second, with Hamad Bughaith and Yousuf Hassan from Kuwait National third. In the second group, Yousuf Rashid and Faisal Al-Mutairi from Al-Huda School stood first, Saleh Al-Hasawi and Ali Qasim from Ikhlas were second, while Abdallah Al-Jimaz and Al-Shaker from Abeer Voluntary in third.

In the third group, Mohsen Al-Mashmoom and Nawaf Al-Qassar from Tumooh were first, Abdullah Al-Otaibi and Sultan Mizel from Kuwait Society for Disabled Care came second, while Hassan Jasim and Omar Waleed from Kuwait Academy stood third. In the fourth group, Mohammad Al-Tarkait and Ali Shihab from Hope School came first, Abdullah Al-Daihani and Hussein Ali from Nibras were second, with Barrak Al-Ajmi and Ibrahim Hussein from Warba third.

National Director of Kuwait Special Olympics Rihab Buresli lauded the turnout and the participation of 14 institutions, in addition to the improvement of the players' skills. Buresli thanked the Public Authority for Sport, the Bowling Club and the Regional Presidency of Special Olympics and all those who contributed to the tournament's success.
