KUWAIT: The Interior Ministry's traffic department noticed an unlicensed gathering of sports cars at night on an almost daily basis in the parking lot of 360 Mall in South Surra, which may cause traffic chaos and disturb residents, which constitutes a violation of the law. He said as soon as the cars were noticed, traffic department patrols went to the area, closed entrances and exits of the parking lots, and impounded 54 vehicles, while two juveniles were arrested for driving without a driving license. Sixty traffic citations were issued. Separately, thirteen vehicles were impounded and a man was sent to jail during a campaign on Second Ring Road, while 16 traffic citations were issued for driving recklessly, in addition to other violations.

Car catches fire on King Fahad Road

Fire broke out in a car on King Fahd Road near Jabriya. Mishref fire center responded and put out the fire. No injuries were reported. Meanwhile, a fire was reported in an industrial Jahra transformer. Occupational Jahra fire center responded and the fire was put out. No injuries were reported.

Food campaigns

Kuwait Municipality continued its inspection campaigns on various restaurants, cooperatives, markets, stores and foodstuff companies. The inspection and municipality services at the municipality branch of Hawally governorate launched a major campaign in Salmiya that included stores, butcher shops, markets and co-ops. The campaign resulted in issuing seven general hygiene citations, and eight undertakings.

Service centers' timings

The IKnterior Ministry's service centers department announced working hours during Ramadan as follows: Centers working during the morning hours will operate from 10 am to 2:30 pm. Centers working in the afternoon will operate from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and those open on weekends will operate from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
