KUWAIT: stc, the official sponsor and strategic partner of the Kuwaiti Football Association (KFA) for the 2021-2022, participated in the final match of the Crown Prince Cup, held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The game was held at the Jaber International Stadium and attended by the Crown Prince, along with other governmental officials and Kuwait football family.

In line with the company strategy to support the local sports community and as the official sponsor of KFA, stc executives including engineer Maziad Alharbi, CEO of stc, as well as the Corporate Communications GM Danah AlJasem attended the final game and the closing ceremony. During the final match of the Crown Prince Cup, the Arabi Sporting Club were crowned champions for the eighth time in the club's history after winning the final match against Kuwait Sporting club in a thrilling 5-4 penalty shootout.

stc corporate communications team has prepared a set of interactive activities and surprises to the attending fans under "stc Village" that was built specifically for this final game. "stc village" included the Fan Zone area and many competitions and prizes for the fans who attended the final game to cheer on their favorite team.

On this occasion, the president of KFA, Sheikh Ahmed Youssef Al-Sabah said, "We are proud to have been honored by the presence of HH the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the final game, which reflects his highness ongoing support of the Kuwait sports community. HH the crown prince has always been keen to meet his Kuwaiti athletes' sons to encourage them to be committed and professional to ensure Kuwait's name is held high in all regional and international competitions. Al Sabah also thanked stc for its continuous support and sponsorship of the Kuwait Football Association activities as we share the same vision of developing players in all facets of football and work hand in hand towards a better future in sports.

Engineer Maziad Alharbi, CEO of stc, expressed his happiness for the company's participation in the final game of the Crown Prince Championship as it falls under the strategic partnership with the KFA for the eighth consecutive year.
