KUWAIT: The court of appeal yesterday adjourned the case of storming the parliament’s building, in which 70 citizens including 11 former MPs face charges. Most of the defendants, including nine former MPs, did not attend the hearing, sources said, adding that some lawyers requested postponing the hearing while others called certain witnesses for testimony. Notably, the comprehensive court had acquitted all defendants but the public prosecution contested the ruling and took the case to the court of appeal.
