suicideKUWAIT: Statistics of those who committed suicide in Kuwait rang the danger bells as 62 expatriates and three citizens ended their lives during 11 months since the start of 2015. Data showed that maids are the most committing suicide, while 13 women killed themselves in the same period.

Statistics showed that 60 percent of those who committed suicide are aged between 19 to 35 years, while the means of suicide varied between jumping from high places, taking large amount of medicine, ingesting poison, cutting wrists and others. A security source said the interior ministry is working on rehabilitating policemen to deal and negotiate with those who attempt suicide. — Al-Qabas
