KUWAIT: From the first day of Ramadan, Zain’s annual iftar initiative has once again commenced, marking its 18th consecutive year. The initiative welcomes fasting individuals daily at Manahi Al-Dawwas Hall in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, providing 40,000 meals throughout the Holy Month. The Iftar initiative is a cornerstone of Zain’s annual Ramadan campaign, Zain Alshuhoor, where the company serves daily iftar meals to fasting individuals. Additionally, in collaboration with its strategic partner, the Kuwait Food Bank, Zain distributes meals through a fleet of dedicated trucks that travel across the country.
Zain’s team plays a hands-on role in managing and organizing the initiative, supported by the Zain Alshuhoor volunteer team, which consists of employees from various departments. Their participation reflects Zain’s deep commitment to meaningful community engagement. Zain recently kicked off its annual Zain Alshuhoor campaign with the Ramadan Food Baskets initiative, providing essential food supplies to underprivileged families and individuals. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Zain’s strategic partners, including the Social Care Centers of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Kuwait Food Bank.

The food baskets were distributed to the Social Care Centers, benefiting residents such as family care children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Additionally, the Kuwait Food Bank ensured that these baskets reached underprivileged families and individuals across various regions of Kuwait. Year after year, Zain Alshuhoor continues to evolve and expand its programs, embodying the spirit of generosity that defines Ramadan. Through this campaign, Zain upholds the deeply rooted values of the Kuwaiti people — offering support to those in need and fostering a culture of compassion, love, and peace.
