Tattooed and proud: Chinese women peel away stigmas

KUWAIT: The General Presidency of the National Guard (NG) and the Ministry of Justice held discussions on Wednesday to enhance joint cooperation, with a focus on expediting marriage-related procedures for NG personnel. The initiative aligns with the Ministry’s “Marriage Journey” project, which aims to simplify the process for citizens preparing to wed.

In a press statement, the NG said the Assistant for Financial Affairs and Resources Management, Major General Riyadh Tawari, met with Dr Ahlam Al-Muwail, Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology and Statistics at the Ministry of Justice, along with Dr Mishari Al-Safran, a member of the sector’s technical office. The meeting addressed coordination efforts to facilitate electronic linking and data exchange between the NG and the Ministry. Discussions centered on integrating systems to streamline the issuance of electronic marriage certificates and ease related procedures for NG members. — KUNA
