Over 13 million Arab children are living under hard conditions in some Arab countries, and have been denied access to schools, according to a recent report released by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization's (ALECSO). This is something that I believe crosses the line, simply because educating children is a God-given right and a global demand.

Involving Arab regions in proxy wars without paying much attention to the consequences that go as far as endangering children lives is a real threat to both the Arab and Islamic nations. ALESCO is committed to the 2022 plan through contribution to international programs designed to protect innocent children from such harsh and violent circumstances.

ALESCO also focuses on limiting poverty and ensuring sustainable education for all people. It also helps provide, in collaboration with the UN, more opportunities towards educating women, girls and children in general, and activating sustainable development plans with an ultimate goal of achieving many aspirations. The hardships Arabs are going through are not isolated from history nor international power equations, namely the division of the security council in terms of what the West and the East sees best.
