KUWAIT: Criminal detectives led by Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh arrested three Arab nationals who conned victims by selling an electronic device they made buyers believe was worth KD 300, offering it to them for KD 50, although the device is worth only KD 30. Several citizens and expats filed complaints that they were cheated. Investigations identified a person, who was arrested. The man then confessed regarding the names of his two partners.

Reckless driver

Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Abdullah Al-Muhanna ordered the detention of a reckless driver after he held a 'show' on Fahaheel Expressway. The driver's car was also impounded. A security source said that traffic officers rejected all 'wasta' attempts to free the youth.

Officer attacked

A police officer who works in a 'sensitive department' complained that he was attacked while on duty. The officer gave police the details of the citizen who attacked him and deliberately rammed his car, chasing him and filming him with his mobile.
