Three million Captagon pills busted

KUWAIT: Customs officers foiled an attempt to smuggle more than three million Captagon pills in a container that arrived in the country. The 40-foot container arrived in Shuwaikh Port from an Arab country, and officers found the drugs hidden in potatoes and onions.

Interior Minister Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem, Director General of Customs Jamal Al-Jelawi and Deputy Director General for Customs Affairs Sulaiman Al-Fahad were on hand, along with other officials.
