KUWAIT: A 3-year-old Kuwaiti boy died when he was run over by a speeding vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Bedoon (stateless) man in Jahra, said security sources. The child was rushed to Jahra Hospital in a critical condition but died on admission, the sources added. Initial reports said that the child was playing outside his family's house when he was hit accidently. The driver was taken in police's custody to face charges.

Convicted fraudster caught

An Egyptian man who had been wanted for a seven-year imprisonment sentence over several fraud charges was recently arrested in Jahra. He was taken to the proper authorities for further action.

Camp thieves arrested

Ahmadi detectives recently arrested a Saudi man and two bedoons for multiple camp robberies, said security sources, noting that the suspects had committed 9 robberies stealing all-terrain vehicles (ATV), motorbikes and generators.

Muggers in police's net

A citizen and a bedoon with a history of drug-related crimes were recently arrested in Farwaniya on charges of committing 10 robberies against expatriates, were recently arrested in Farwaniya.

Liquor factory busted

Four expatriates were recently arrested in Mahboula when narcotic detectives stormed a liquor factory, said security sources. Detectives also found 100 liquor barrels, tools used in brewing liquor, 418 bottles of liquor, nine sacks of yeast and two cooking gas cylinders.

Fugitive nabbed

A bedoon (stateless) man was recently arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyiukh and taken to the relevant authorities to serve time in jail on previous charges. The man was caught a at a checkpoint where police checked his ID and discovered that he is wanted to serve one year for robbery and two years for drug possession. Police also found a bag containing methamphetamine with the suspect's possession.
