KUWAIT: Farwaniya detectives arrested a gang of three Syrians for armed robberies. A complaint was filed by a Syrian who was robbed by three unidentified persons who took KD 11,250 from him after he left an exchange bureau in Farwaniya. Detectives carried out their investigations and found a gang that targeted exchange shops.
Detectives placed the gang under surveillance, and followed them to Nugra Sunday evening and arrested them. The three are Syrians and they confessed to committing another similar robbery, in which they mugged an Asian man in Jabriya, robbing him of KD 9,000. They were sent to concerned authorities.
Farwaniya municipality’s emergency team carried out a campaign during which 23 citations were issued in relation to advertisement violations, 13 for expired licenses, six for lack of license, four signs without a license, while 58 ads were removed.
