KUWAIT: A car was spotted driving erratically in Ahmadi, so it was stopped, and police found two men and an Egyptian woman in an abnormal condition. The three had used drugs earlier, so their car was searched and 62 tablets of a banned substance were found. The Egyptian woman said she does not have any work relations with the men and it was the drugs that brought them together. The three are being questioned by the Drugs Control General Department.

Suicide threat

A man told police his wife was threatening to slash her wrists and commit suicide due to domestic problems, so police rushed to help and convinced the woman to change her mind.

Family row

An Egyptian man attacked his sister-in-law at her house and stole KD 900. The woman told police that her brother-in-law beat her while her husband was out of the country and took KD 900 before escaping. Police are investigating.

Shopper mugged

A man took advantage of a European woman being busy with her children at a Salmiya market and stole her bag that contained $5,000 and KD 90, beside IDs and other documents.

Illegal entery

A Pakistani man succeeded in entering the country illegally by sea, but was caught by accident in Farwaniya. Police saw the man trying to hide from them, and he was arrested after attempting to escape on foot. He was taken to the police station where he confessed that he swam his way into the country, adding that he was dumped by a boat near Kuwait's territorial waters. He was sent to concerned authorities.

Bloody fight

A citizen in his tweinties was stabbed by three persons following a fight which left him bleeding, so he was taken to Adan Hospital. A security source said the man sought the help of police and told them he was stabbed by three persons who were arguing. He added that he was bleeding, so an ambulance was dispatched, but his condition required the use of a medevac chopper, which flew him to Adan Hospital.

Reckless driving

A citizen in his twenties was arrested following reckless driving in Saad Al-Abdullah. He had hashish and 43 illicit tablets on him. He was sent to the Drugs Control Guard Department.

Fugitive caught

Police patrols suspected a car that was leaving the parking lot of a hotel, so it was stopped. The driver was found to be a citizen on the run from several prison sentences. He was sent to concerned authorities.

Traffic dispute

A traffic dispute between two citizens escalated to a fight, during which a man suffered a wound in his skull. After a traffic accident, the two left their cars to check the damage, then the fight broke out. The injured man was taken to Mubarak Hospital. Police are investigating. - Al-Rai, Al-Anbaa
