Kuwaiti Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah

KUWAIT: "Our brothers the residents are being deeply respected and appreciated in shadow of the law and regulations of the State of Kuwait," affirmed the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah yesterday.

"No-one, regardless of the size of the community he (she) belongs to, will be allowed to breach the laws and the regulations in the country," the minister said, adding that "any violator will be punished."

Those who were involved in the brawl in Hawally district have been referred to the Public Prosecution, "and any person who triggers trouble will be expelled, "the Interior Minister warned anew, while responding to questions by an MP during yesterday's parliament session.
