In similar cases, the criminal court yesterday adjourned a hearing in the state security case filed against former lawmaker Waleed Al-Tabtabae over charges of spreading false news about the position of His Highness the Crown Prince through his Twitter account. And the criminal court also adjourned hearing a state security case filed against blogger, Hamed Buyabes for tweets deemed sectarian.

Black slick off Shaab beach

The Green Group environmental activists recently spotted a large black slick floating off Al-Shaab Al-Bahri coast and stressed that Environment Public Authority (EPA) and other concerned environmental authorities seem to be unaware of the situation. No official warnings have been made public. Meanwhile, the EPA responded by indicating that it was aware of the issue, saying that it was a red tide stretch and added that samples were taken for testing.
