KUWAIT: Two Ethiopian nationals were rushed to Jahra Hospital after a landmine explosion which was reported at Salmy road on the 83 kilometer mark. Jahra police rushed to the area after the incident was reported. The victims could not be transported by Medvac due to bad weather. They were reportedly shepherding when the explosion took place. They were taken to hospital by ambulance, and admitted inside the intensive care unit.

Fatal crash

A collision took place on Jahra Road between a truck and a sedan Saturday night. A team from Sulaibkhat fire center led by Captain Ali Al-Saleeli headed to the scene after the accident was reported. Two Asian nationals were pronounced dead on the scene. Their bodies were taken to the coroner. A case was filed for investigations.

Bus fire

A vehicle caught fire on Fourth Ring Road yesterday, so Shuhada center dispatched a team led by Captain Ali Al-Khalid. The fire was reported in bus and was put out without injuries being reported.

Ban lifted

Chairman of food safety at Kuwait Municipality Fahad Al-Musabbahi said that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a decision to lift the ban on importing poultry meat of all types and eggs from Holland, because they are free of birds flue. He added a similar decision was issued in regards to importing poultry meat from Italy, provided that a certificate of origin, in addition to the documents required by the concerned authorities are issued.
