KUWAIT: A bedoon (stateless) man received two stabs when he went to rescue his relative who was stabbed five times by his uncle. The fight took place in Reqqa between two bedoon relatives. Paramedics took both men to Adan hospital in critical conditions. Both will be questioned when their condition allows.

Drunk man arrested

Ahmadi detectives arrested a drunken man who is being questioned about his companions' locations. Policemen stopped a car with two men and a woman inside. They all were discovered to be intoxicated. One man was arrested after he got out of the car while holding two bottles, and told officers to catch him if they could. When policemen went after him, the other two escaped.

False alarm

A call about a girl's kidnapping in Sabah Al-Salem had the police on alert only to find out that she went on a date. Police received a call from a citizen who said that he saw an unknown person kidnapping his neighbor in front of her home. The police spotted the car described in the emergency call after it was located on the seafront, and arrested the driver. The man, Egyptian, said that he fell in love with the Filipina girl after they met on social media, adding that she went with him at her consent. Both were taken to the police station to face legal action.

Drug users caught

Ahmadi police sent three citizens to Drugs Control General Department (DGCD) after being caught smoking hashish in the parking lot of a school, and finding three pieces on them. Police patrols saw the three in the parking lot, so they approached them and found them in an abnormal condition. They were searched and arrested. Meanwhile, Farwaniya police sent two citizens who had a bag of drugs, in addition to five kg of heroin to the Drugs Control General Department (DCGD), only to discover that the five kilograms were ground Sidr. A police patrol stopped the car and found the two men in an abnormal state. On searching them, the drugs were found.

Theft

A thief stole the contents of a truck by making a hole in the door, and then escaped with computers containing important data. A citizen told Ahmadi governorate police station about theft. He said that the thief damaged the interior of the truck to remove traces. Forensics checked the vehicle, and concerned authorities are investigating.

Fugitive caught

Jahra detectives arrested a citizen sentenced to four years in jail on a felony, following resistance in Jahra. The man also had a criminal record in drugs conditions. Police learned that the suspect was in his brother's house in Jahra, so they obtained a warrant and went to the house, and faced stiff resistance before being able to control him.

Man swindled

A Saudi man fell victim to a Kuwaiti woman who took KD 11,000 in cash from him after promising to marry him. She was arrested by Mubarak Al-Kabeer detectives, and was charged with swindling. The Saudi national went to the police station and told them a woman made him believe she loves him, and promised to marry him, so he assisted her financially until the total amount he gave her reached KD 11,000. She then distanced herself away from of him, and when he asked to pay back the money, she refused. Investigations are underway.

Salary gone

A Filipina woman accused her colleagues of stealing her salary. The woman had the other four stand in a line to find out who among them stole her KD 130 salary. She said that they all work in a cleaning company and live in the same flat. The four denied charges. - Translated from the Arabic press
