An Iranian ship captain was recently arrested after he left Doha harbor for shopping without obtaining a security permission to do so, said security sources. They noted that after failing to get the permission, a safety and security officer escorted the skipper himself in his own vehicle to go shopping. Scam

A citizen recently reported that he was swindled by someone who claimed to be selling bodybuilding hormone courses through an Instagram account, and asked him to deposit KD 250 to his bank account to have the course delivered. The citizen said that the delivery was never made and that he failed to contact the man afterwards. A fraud case was filed and further investigations are in progress.

Hoax call

Security forces were recently alerted on receiving a call from a citizen, saying that a terrorist operation was about to take place at his house. When they rushed to the scene, the caller opened the door but told police to remove all patrols then shut the door again.
