Unidentified passengers rob Bangladeshi taxi driver

KUWAIT: A Bangladeshi taxi driver reported that three unidentified passengers he picked up in Saad Al-Abdullah threatened him with a knife, tied him up and stole his money. The man added that one of the suspects deliberately drove his taxi into a tree. A case was filed.

270 illicit pills
A female Arab expat was arrested on arrival at Kuwait International Airport with 270 illicit pills she hid in her purse, claiming they were personal medicines.

Homebrewed liquor
Three Asians were arrested in Farwaniya with 15 homebrewed liquor bottles, said security sources.

Slandering and insult
A Syrian juvenile was arrested for slandering and insulting the Kuwaiti citizenship, said security sources, noting that two citizens recorded a video of the boy while asking him what he would do if he was granted Kuwaiti citizenship.
