My first experience with the vaccine was faster than I had expected it to be. I have a small fear of needles so I was nervous about it, but from what I had heard, the needles didn't hurt that much. while that faded most of my worries, it still made me nervous. Vaccinations are very unfamiliar to me but I know the shot is for the best.

A part of me was somewhat excited because a vaccination meant that I will be closer to being able to get back to a normal life. I thought it would take hours like other hospitals, but it took less than half an hour. The needle itself did sting, but it wasn't as bad as I originally thought it would be.

My arm felt a little heavy, but I don't feel any side effects other than that. I expected it to hurt a lot. My vaccination experience was great and I can't wait for my second dose.
