KUWAIT: Saud Al-Shabaak shakes hands with Robert Hayek following the press conference.

KUWAIT: Warba Bank announced yesterday a new partnership with Boodai Aviation Group on funding healthcare and medical treatment abroad during a press conference held at The Avenues. This partnership is through the medical tourism section of Souk Safar, which is specialized in providing all services for medical treatment abroad. According to this partnership, all those seeking medical treatment abroad can benefit from this offer, whether they are clients of Warba Bank or not. They will receive financing by Warba for their treatment.

There are different forms of financing available. "The first is through depositing the amount of the medical treatment as a fix deposit (Sunbula) at Warba Bank for a certain period. With this deposit, the client will enter weekly and quarterly draws during the deposit period. At the end of the period, the returns of the investment to the value of three percent will be deposited to the client's account directly. Then the client will fulfill the funding application in return for the financial guarantee, which is considered an added value for the client," said Ayman Al-Mutairi, CEO for Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank.

The second way is by applying for direct funding by Warba Bank without any additional profits on the original amount. The limit is up to KD 25,000 with a flexible repayment period," he added.

Saud Al-Shabaak, Manager of the Direct Sales Department at Warba Bank noted that the bank aims to expand its banking and financing solutions portfolio that covers the needs of clients in all fields. "This provides more flexibility on banking transactions and brings the clients more benefits. So in addition to receiving the best medical services provided by Souk Safar in different countries, the client will also make good financial returns from the Sunbula deposit. Furthermore, he will get a chance to win one of the prizes of the weekly and monthly draws worth KD 1 million annually," he explained.

Robert Hayek, General Manager of Boodai Aviation Group, expressed his delight to enter into this partnership with Warba Bank, which will provide their clients the best medical services. "Our clients will get the best medical advice from specialists in the field," he pointed out.

Dr Hani Ansi, Head of the Medical Tourism at Souk Safar, said Souk Safar provides top medical services at various medical centers in countries including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, UK, US and others. "Souk Safar is unique in the Kuwaiti market as it's located in the biggest shopping mall (The Avenues) and includes various airlines, in addition to offices of international hotels. It also includes medical tourism, adventure trips, marine tours, car rentals, visa office, medical insurance and much more all in one place," he noted. "The clients of Warba Bank will be privileged by getting free medical consultation before booking their stay through live video call with specialized doctors abroad," he added.
