KUWAIT: A 23-year-old Kuwaiti master's student was killed in a car accident in Cardiff, Wales. The Wales Online said British police have opened an investigation and urged eyewitnesses to testify. The site said Soultan Al-Shammari died when his silver Corvette collided with a blue Ford Focus and a black Mercedes C220 travelling in the opposite direction on Newport Road's Rumney Hill at around 4:50 pm on Feb 27. A 23-year-old woman, who was a passenger, remains in a critical but stable condition at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Nobody else was injured. In a statement published by Wales Online, Shammari's family said: "Soultan had come from Kuwait to study a master's degree in law at Cardiff University.
