KUWAIT: Veteran Kuwaiti astronomer Dr Saleh Al-Ojairi said that, in view of recent thunderstorms and changing weather, temperatures were expected to drop to 15-20 C degrees by the last week of November, marking the true beginning of winter.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry had issued a statement yesterday warning road users, sea and desert goers of bad weather conditions experienced in Kuwait. The Interior Ministry's public relations department called on the public to use the 112 hotline in case of emergency.

Taima clinic

A 22 year-old stateless person was recently arrested for robbing the Taima clinic in Jahra, said security sources, noting that the suspect showed fierce resistance to his arrest.
