Woman, boyfriend sentenced to death in disabled girl's murder

KUWAIT: The criminal court yesterday sentenced a woman and her boyfriend to death for the first degree murder of her daughter, said legal sources. The mother and the boyfriend admitted they both beat the disabled girl to death because they were annoyed by her screams and cries, the sources noted. The criminal court also sentenced a former Ministry of Health assistant undersecretary to two years in prison with labor over charges of forging a degree from Egypt for his son.
