KUWAIT: A woman was instantly killed while a man and another woman were seriously injured when their vehicle hit a camel on Salmi highway, said security sources. The sources added that a Saudi couple and a woman with them were driving back to Saudi Arabia when a camel suddenly crossed the road, and the driver could not avoid it.

Drug dealer caught

A drug dealer was arrested yesterday in Rabiya, the Interior Ministry announced yesterday. Farwaniya police arrested the suspect when he was found to be inebriated after he was pulled over for driving erratically. The man was identified as Abdurrahman Mohammad, 23, Kuwaiti. Police found KD 600 in cash with the suspect, and he admitted that he collected the money from selling drugs. Police then headed to the man's house in Zahra and found several amounts of drugs of different types, as well as drug paraphernalia, KD 2,671 in cash, an air gun, a Taser, a walkie-talkie, and 13 cell phones that the suspect said he confiscated from clients who could not pay him in cash. Police also found an unlicensed pistol and two loaded magazines inside the suspect's car. He was taken to the proper authorities for further action.
