KUWAIT: Criminal investigators managed to identify a young man seen in a video circulating on social media assaulting a girl in her vehicle, the Interior Ministry's relations and security media department announced. The suspect later turned himself in to Qairawan police. Security sources noted that the suspect, a citizen, claimed he knew the girl. However, the man was detained pending summoning the girl to see whether she wanted to press charges.

Arrests

Residency affairs detectives inspected a number of domestic labor offices in Ahmadi, said security sources, noting that inspections resulted in the arrest of 20 illegal laborers and referring them to relevant authorities.

Fight

Two Arab vegetable vendors were arrested at Sulaibiya vegetable market for fighting and were referred to relevant authorities pending deportation.

Flasher

A bedoon was caught with a detective's flashing light and a police rank, which he said belonged to his policeman friend. He was referred to the department of supervision and inspection. The bedoon was arrested on Fifth Ring Road while he was driving at a speed of 200 km/hour, using the flasher. When police searched his car, a blue light, traffic ticket book, a first lieutenant rank, 10 bedoon passports, four weapons licenses, two Asian passports, three driving licenses, three civil IDs, and a chequebook were found.
